When you create an account we store your email address and a hashed version of your password. If you sign in with Google we store the email address Google shares with us. While you use the app we store the data you enter yourself: the bills you create (name, amount, due date, recurrence) and the savings you record against them.
Your email address is used to sign you in, to send account emails (such as password resets and address verification) and to send you the bill reminders this app exists for. Your bill and savings data is used only to show you your own overview and to calculate your saving goals. We do not sell or share your data with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
The app uses only functional cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF cookie to protect forms. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page; this permanently removes your account together with all bills, savings history and reminder records.
If you have questions about your data, contact us at none@bufferpot.com.
