Bufferpot helps you keep track of upcoming bills, save toward them and receive email reminders before they are due. The reminders are a convenience: you remain responsible for actually paying your bills on time. The app never handles money itself and is not a bank, payment provider or financial adviser.
You need an account with a working email address to use the app. Keep your password to yourself and let us know if you think someone else has access to your account. You can stop using the service and delete your account, including all its data, at any time from your profile page.
Use the app for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the service or to access data belonging to other users.
The service is provided as-is, free of charge, without any warranty. In particular we are not liable for costs that result from a missed or late payment, whatever the cause — including reminder emails that were delayed, filtered as spam or not delivered.
We may update these terms and the service itself. Significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
